U.S. Air Force orders a P2131 Automated Field Steam Sterilizer to showcase at the Air Force Expeditionary Medical System (EMEDS) field hospital at Fort Detrick, MD. The EMEDS is a permanent test bed used to conduct operational testing of expeditionary medical technologies. The P2131 sterilizer will replace the aged M-138 sterilizer to keep the facility up-to-date for the numerous tours conducted to the entire military medical community.
