FRONT-LINE Field Sterilizer: Supporting Samaritan’s Purse in Lifesaving Missions

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. On the medical front, Samaritan’s Purse estimates they have treated over 30,000 patients since 2016. Their medical support ranges from wellness and maternal health clinics to full operating suites that provide lifesaving surgeries for those injured in conflicts or natural disasters. Their disaster response supports a range of care from medical triage bags to self-supported and staffed hospitals with two operating suites and inpatient wards.

FDI’s FRONT-LINE Field Sterilizer is currently being used at the Samaritan’s Purse International headquarters in North Carolina to sterilize surgical items packed and shipped to emergency medical responses all over the world.

“  When we received the FRONT-LINE Field Sterilizer our Biomed team carefully investigated its design, access to replace parts and the availability replacement parts. Our team was very impressed and continues to be with this technology. In the nearly 100 loads we have sterilized, the sterilizer has functioned flawlessly. We truly appreciate how quickly we can run cycles and how dry the loads are after a cycle is completed. We also depend on its portable design and low electrical demands to help meet our needs. This sterilizer is truly a great asset to us in the work that we do to save lives, reduce suffering and share the hope of Jesus. “ – Bruce Nisley, Medical Operations Specialist, Samaritan’s Purse.
